Adventurous Getaway at White Water Farm in Stanford, Western Cape
Are you looking for a relaxing but yet still adventurous getaway nearby Cape Town? White Water Farm in Stanford is the place to go.
Shaun and I have recently visited this stunning farm and absolutely loved our stay. It offers amazing photography and videography opportunities thanks to the stunning scenic views, a wide range of animals and rich flora.
Being so private and secluded from any big cities and other light pollution, it offers a spectacular night sky experience that we could not resist capturing on our cameras.
We can also recommend this place to any of our engaged couples as they offer great wedding and accommodation facilities. On top of that, these facilities have been recently completely renovated to give their visitors the highest comfort and standard.
The farm owners live permanently on the farm. They are very friendly and always making sure you have the best experience.
Not only does the farm provide some of the most incredible meals from their organic garden patch but there is a lot more you can do. Here are some of the other activities you can enjoy:
- Hiking
- Bloom Spa
- Mountain biking
- Bird watching
- Swimming (either in their pool or dam)
- Wine tasting at nearby wineries (e.g. Raka, Stanford Hills, Boschrivier)
- Visit historic Stanford, a stunning coastline and caves in Gansbaai and other surrounds
