Penny & Bruce’s Wedding at the Bellwood Stud, Midlands, KZN
Bruce, who comes from Zambia, and Penny, who comes from South Africa, decided to have their special day in her home country at a beautiful venue in the Midlands called Bellwood. This venue offered every kind of scenery you could think of: forest, fields, dams, hills…
Their day started with the groomsmen fly-fishing and pre-drinking at the dam and the bridesmaids having their hair and makeup done whilst drinking a few glasses of sparkling wine. Everyone seemed super relaxed, happy and excited for the day. Penny & Bruce’s wedding was not only very special because of the stunning venue setting, but also because of their friends and family members who came literally from all continents of the world.
The wedding ceremony was held in the middle of a forest, which created a magical fairy-tale-like atmosphere. After Penny and Bruce shared their beautiful vows, exchanged the rings and sealed their endless love with a first kiss, everyone made their way to the bohemian picnic-style reception. Their MC and speakers prepared such amazing and emotional speeches. We could see how much the guests and the newly-married couple enjoyed themselves during the reception.
In between the reception time, we captured some beautiful nature/sunset couple portraits and then soon after the wedding crowd hit the dance floor.
Penny and Bruce’s love as well as their family’s love truly did show throughout the entire day and created an amazing atmosphere.
We wish the newly married couple a lifetime of memories as great as their wedding day.
