Forest Wedding at De Uijlenes Rustic Farm in the Uilkraal Valley, Western Cape

De Uijlenes is a rustic farm and forest wedding venue. It is located in the stunning Uilkraal Valley, which makes for a wonderful wedding setting. The venue strives to be as authentic and natural as possible to make sure that couples’ wedding day is as real as it can be. They have two wedding venues on the farm and both have an intrinsic natural beauty. You can choose either the Nightjar venue - a log rustic cabin or the woodland forest wedding.

Mia and Lucas chose the magical woodland forest wedding with their ceremony under a magnificent giant oak tree.

Their wedding celebration then continued on to the Old Barn. A rustic 19c former dairy that has been converted into a unique event venue. The Old Barn has several fireplaces, original features, a cigar lounge and a large dining area with rustic wooden tables and chairs.

The Old Barn & Forest venue can be described as a laid-back party/wedding venue that is ideal if you are looking for a festive atmosphere.

This combination was perfect for Mia and Lucas’s wedding party with their live-band music.

Husband and Wife team made all their breathtaking floral decor and Mia’s artistic bouquet. The make-up artists Michelle Moolman and Skoonlief did an incredible job. It was also fun working with the videographers from RoundAboutFilms. The amazing stationery made by Velcro Suit was super creative and the awesome tunes played by Music Experience and Holy Funk created such a vibe and awesome jol.
